The Vibe: Flashbacks just opened on December 7, replacing a teen dance club. So, it needs a little more time to catch on. It appears Friday's are the biggest nights. The inside is clean with an upstairs level that has three additional tiers of cocktail tables. The shot girls and bartenders primarily dress true to the "theme." There's lots of neon fish nets, ripped shirts, off the shoulder tops and tight shorts. Naturally, there's black lights, projected lights and big screens playing music videos to match the DJ's playlist. A good mix of songs, mostly early 2000s/late 90s hits (there weren't a ton of "70's throwback" songs on the playlist). Again, we have only gone once and it's only been open for a few weekends now...so the jury is still out. But, even in the ads it seems geared towards a slightly older crowd who actually grew up to the music--not you '87 babies who watched "I Love the 80s" on VH1 and "felt" like you remembered everything.
Style Profile: Have fun with the black lights and bring your own "crowd." It's a throwback dance club, leave the super tight-short dress at home. Kick it in some jeans and an off the shoulder top or wear something with mesh for some old trend, made new fun.

Must Order: Pudding shots. Yes, that is correctly spelled. P-u-d-d-i-n-g.
Must Try: Request a song...the DJ is so accessible. Just don't request anything super dirty...they will tell you it's too raunchy.
Must Know: It's $8 to get in (no cover on Thursday), only open Thrusday-Saturday and it closes at 1 a.m./2:30 on Saturday
