The Vibe: The vibe of the Golden Lamb can totally be summed up in one word: regal. Considering that this hot spot is the oldest business in the State of Ohio; there’s tons of history. And let me tell you, that’s apparent from the moment you walk in the oversized door. The tables are covered in ivory linens and there are like 8 forks beside your dinner plate. Luckily if that’s not your scene, the bar is a much less “fancy” with live music a few nights a week and affordable drink specials. Either way, this is a more upscale place, perfect for a nice quiet evening.

Style Profile: According to my lovely boyfriend, he recommends “a dress” for dinner and drinks at the Golden Lamb- and ladies, I couldn’t agree more. But “a dress?!” (Really, Matt?!) Not just any dress. This is the PERFECT place to sport one of my FAVORITE closet staples: the little black dress or "lbd." Now remember, this restaurant is more conservative; think through your accessories appropriately. You can always rock that dress with a blazer! (…just sayin’) However, I definitely vote a conservative heel or flat as the ideal shoe choice. Break out Grandma’s pearls or Mom’s locket because a small and dainty piece of jewelry would be well-suited here.

Must know: The Golden Lamb is rumored to be seriously haunted! (Which we think makes it even MORE awesome!)

Must Try: A Smoking Bishop is the Golden Lamb’s claim to fame. Unfortunately this hot, spiced and seriously tasty drink is only available during the holidays. If you’re there and it’s not available, try an Old Fashioned! I don’t know what it is, but those bartenders make one like no other.
