It finally happened.
It is sad that this is a revelation, revolution and consequently a celebration. But, it's sort of monumental nonetheless.
This picture was posted and I didn't freak out about it. In fact, I didn't notice anything "wrong" with it until I looked at it for the tenth time. A brief moment of embarrassment washed over me, my cheeks began to burn and my temperature rose...
then it dropped. Everything was gone and I stared at the amazing quality of this captured memory. So what could I possibly be talking about? Other overly critical and analytical girls will probably instantly see it.
The roll. It doesn't help that I wore a cropped top and skirt "dress." Oh and I've classically over-blushed--but that's for another post.
My normal instincts would either immediately text her and tell her to take it down or immediately point out the flaw and make it "funny." Somehow, I didn't feel that impulse. We initially posed to get the shot and it turned into a mini laughing session. The glasses were so tiny they made the tiniest little "clink" noise.
And come on, Sarah's hair looks amazing. This curly girly only knows one routine "foam and go."
So there this picture remains, in infinite viral spaces. A moment of joy and a little trophy I earned for, as Sarah would say, learning to "not give a f***."
